Ideal for those at the beginning of their journey, this program combines expert guidance with self-discovery to identify the most fitting university options—both in terms of academic direction and geographic location. Whether you’re overwhelmed by too many choices or unsure where to begin, we’ll help you chart a course that makes sense for you.
- A 60-minute initial conversation with student (and family if preferred)
- A suite of self-insight tests and reports, including:
- A Myers-Briggs personality profile and report
- A test and report of emotional and intellectual aptitudes
- A test and report of career aptitudes
- A test and report of learning and productivity strengths and challenges
- A 75-minute in-depth followup conversation with the student to understand strengths, interests, and university/professional aspirations
- Access to Maia Learning, our university application preparation and research platform, including:
- University profiles with detailed demographic, admissions, and financial aid data
- The digital Fiske Guide to Colleges, the USA’s most respected source for insider information on US colleges and universities
- Maia Offers, a reverse admissions model allowing colleges to search for and make offers to students
- The ability to create custom searches and lists of colleges and universities according to each student’s criteria
- Functionality to track application requirements and status
- Summer opportunity search tool
- Career exploration tools including informational videos
- Academic planner and test score tracker
- Scholarship search tool
